Hi everyone, this is Charles Hoskinson broadcasting live from warm, sunny Colorado. Today is August 14, 2023, and I wanted to share a very brief video about a community initiative that just keeps growing and getting more interesting. So, right here is husksaid.com. I love our community; they’re super cool and interesting.
If you take a look here, you’ll see a website where they do summaries of all the AMAs and various topics that I bring up. I just love this extreme accountability. On the website, you can search anything all the way back to, I think, 2018. They’ve used AI to clean up a bunch of stuff, and it’s all transcribed. There are various topics from Sanchonet, War of Wars, or Boris Prowse.
I did a feature request where I said, "Ask Charles," and currently, if you log in with X, you can drop a question. I hope they add other platforms like Facebook and Google services so that if you have any of your social logins, you can use those as well. I’m not affiliated with this, so I don’t know what they do with the data, but I assume everything is kosher. The point is that you can ask questions here, and I will answer these questions during my AMAs. What I’ll do is get into a cadence of one question live, one question from Husk Said, one question live, and then one question from Husk Said.
This is kind of the canonical place for it, and let’s just grow this up. One of my recommendations is to add more accounts and also to reach out to MCJ. A shoutout to you! Perhaps if you guys have a good privacy policy or if you publicly state how that’s done with these accounts, it would be pretty cool. This is just an example of extreme accountability and community building.
I have no affiliation with the website; someone just tweeted it at me, and I said, "Hey, it would be really cool if you guys upgraded the website to include the ability to ask me questions," and they did that. Now we have basically a beta. Also, why don’t you suggest questions to enhance the question-asking experience? We’ll start using this together, and if this works in six to twelve months, this will become the canonical place where a lot of people drop various questions. I answer the questions, the answers go into the record, and they’re searchable and always there.
Extreme accountability—that’s what blockchain is about; it’s what transparency is about. Wouldn’t it be nice if our politicians did this? the White House or a congressman or something like that. I guess that’s wishful thinking. So, anyway, just a real quick video.
You have the link right there. If you have questions for me, go ahead and ask those questions there, and I’ll try to get into that cadence of one from Husk Said and then one from the community. There’s going to have to be some moderation and other things, but this is your platform. I would hope so. Reach out to the person who created the website; let’s make it better.
Let’s keep adding to it and turn it into a really cool open-source project. Obviously, I’ll participate, and it gives you another way of asking things you’ve always wanted to know. All right, thank you so much for listening, and I’ll talk to everybody soon. Cheers!
